How to support us

Become a member

Members are essential to the project’s long term sustainability. Membership numbers show the project’s support from the community, which is often key to securing funding. Members can support the project in a number of ways, such as lending their time, knowledge and/or resources to the project. This can be to support surveys as well as administration, taking minutes at meetings, sending in photos of their wildlife and flora sightings and much more.

There is no obligation on members to do anything, they may only wish to be informed of what’s happening in the project and/or simply want to support its progress. The project is a great way for all of us to learn more about our immediate surrounding and membership means that you will automatically be informed of project activity and have access to all the project information.

Becoming a member is free of charge. If you would like to become a member, please send us an email (to glenmidgeburnproject@gmail.com) with your name and address stating you would like to join the project as a member. Please also include some details about how you might be able to contribute to the project, even if it is only moral support and we will add you to our list.

Or make a donation!

We have received funding from the Keir Community Council but donations are an important part of how we are able to maintain our project. If you are interested in making a donation to our project, please email us at glenmidgeburnproject@gmail.com.
